One by one: Sugo, an older male cat, came to us matted and scruffy with a large, partially bloody lump on his front paw. A blood test revealed a kidney problem that is being treated with medication. However, the lump was the main issue. It was surgically removed and examined, unfortunately with a sobering result: it is a malignant tumor that will most likely return. An amputation is not a viable option due to his arthritis. We now hope to give him as much good quality of life as possible. Total costs: approx. 2,000 francs Santi, a middle-aged, very trusting male cat, showed massive, untreated ear problems upon his intake.
