British Shorthair Cats Welcome We are a small cattery of British Shorthair Cats in the Fricktal (Canton Aargau). On the following pages, we would like to introduce you to our favorites. WE GENERALLY DO NOT SELL KITTENS FOR SINGLE KEEPING. Many people believe that cats are solitary animals because they are often misrepresented as such. This is only partially true. As solitary hunters, cats are only found when hunting. Otherwise, they are very social animals. Cats value companionship above all; they need a playmate and cuddle buddy. A human is NEVER a substitute for a fellow cat, no matter how much time they spend at home with their cat. Our kittens grow up with their siblings and many aunts and uncles, and they should also enjoy their further lives with at least one feline companion. Our kittens are sold exclusively as indoor cats; of course, a secured balcony or garden would be great! The kittens are sold with a contract and a spaying/neutering requirement; a deposit for the reservation is due upon signing the contract. Upon moving out, each kitten receives a small starter package that includes their usual food for the first few days and toys. Member of the BKS (British Shorthair Switzerland), the ARISTOCAT (Association of Cat Breeders of Liechtenstein), and subject to the regulations and guidelines of the Fédération Internationale Féline (Fifé). The cattery was established in 2002. The first two British Shorthair cats, Katla and Kiss, joined us. OF COURSE, we are also available for advice and assistance after the purchase and are always happy to hear from "our" babies. They are raised with a lot of love and care and leave us no earlier than 14 weeks old.
