Katzenfreunde Oberthurgau is a cat boarding service in Arbon, Canton Thurgau. EVENTS URGENTLY SOUGHT Adam & Spooky - Holiday placement needed for 6 months (April to September 2026)! My partner and I have previously been foster caregivers for an organization and, like many foster caregivers, eventually decided to give two cats a permanent home with us. Now we need support, as my partner and I will be traveling for six months starting in April. We have been searching for a suitable holiday placement for some time, which has proven to be quite challenging. Our two cats are breed-specific (Sphynx), kept exclusively indoors, and are likely not compatible with other unfamiliar cats. During this time, we would provide all necessary equipment and, of course, cover all associated costs (allergy food, cat litter, etc.). With a wide reach, like an organization, we hope to find a suitable solution for our two treasures. They have grown incredibly dear to us, and giving them up is out of the question, as we are fully aware of the responsibility we took on with their adoption. Adam is 12 years old and has a food intolerance, so he only receives a special dry food. Spooky is 7 years old and tolerates everything; he only has his canine teeth left, which does not bother or affect him. Both are incredibly affectionate and seek closeness to their humans. They have a wonderful character and resemble little dogs a bit. Age-appropriately, they are not as playful anymore and enjoy cuddling together on their heating blanket.
