Moon & Friends Farm is a cat boarding facility in Birmensdorf, Canton of Zurich. Our focus is on our animals and their well-being! At Moon & Friends Farm, located above Birmensdorf, we currently provide a species-appropriate living space for 28 animals. Among them are animals that no one wanted anymore, those that were neglected or abused. On our farm, they are respected and valued as individuals. We create animal-friendly and species-appropriate conditions, allowing them to pursue their natural needs. Our protégés live in group housing with suitable companions or freely around the house. They have freedom of movement, protection from the elements, retreat options, and are fed in a species-appropriate manner. They also receive regular veterinary check-ups and treatments, dental and hoof care, as well as necessary medications if required. Would you like to support our animals too? Through the voluntary work of helpers, our protégés enjoy daily care, affection, and a clean, species-appropriate accommodation. We are a small non-profit association and therefore rely on voluntary helpers for the care and engagement of the animals, as well as monetary and food donations and contributions of all kinds.
