We are pleased to introduce our small private animal aid organization, as well as the pet service of Beat and Gergana Senn. ANIMAL AID SOFIA-BG PET SERVICE BEAT SENN ANIMAL AID SOFIA-BG Who – if not us? We are Gergana and Beat Senn from the Zurich Oberland in Switzerland. Our animal aid Sofia-bg is a private organization aimed at enabling self-help on-site in Bulgaria. The goal is to improve the living situation of as many animals as possible, not just to import a few as that would only help a few animals locally. We want to ensure that all can receive help from Dr. med. vet. Marieta Stankova (sister and sister-in-law) as well as street. Neutering and medical treatments to address the root problem locally is our priority. Marieta lives exclusively for the cats on the street. She always shelters around 50 animals at her home on the "SAVE THE ANIMAL Ranch-Bulgaria" of the animal aid Sofia-bg. It is inherently a financially challenging endeavor. Therefore, we are always reliant on donations. OUR PHILOSOPHY It is a matter close to our hearts that are not locked up, as they are pack animals and need freedom and companionship. That is why you will not see any kennels at our boarding service in Switzerland, nor at Marieta's animal shelter. With enough land, generally get along excellently. The prerequisite is that the are neutered. We prioritize this in Bulgaria anyway. There are already enough animal shelters there where remain locked in kennels until the end of their lives.
